In Acts 2, we see that the early church is born and then grows tremendously, by the power of the Holy Spirit in the everyday life of God's people. The church committed to the rhythms of meeting together, hearing the Word, praying with one another, and taking care of one another's needs. What was the result? "And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved." (Acts 2:47)
