THIS EASTER

Origins will worship through believer's Baptism on Easter Sunday (April 5th).  If you have yet to declare your faith in Jesus through Baptism, we would love to help you make that happen!  Baptism does not save us, but it is an act of faith and obedience, and it is a public way to identify with both Jesus and His Church.  We take this decision seriously and want to be able to celebrate all that Jesus has done in your life.  If you are interested in participating or have questions, please email us today at originsgreenville@gmail.com!

Date: Sunday, April 5
Time: 9:30 a.m.
Location: Sunday Worship Gathering at Zen

Join us in Prayer and Fasting!

We are setting aside the third Wednesday of each month in 2026 for the Origins family to be united in prayer and fasting.  While this is not required, it is an invitation to partner together as we seek the Lord's direction for Origins and our individual lives.

We will provide a prayer and reading guide via email each week which will consist of three sessions to be used during the times you would normally be eating a meal. As we talked about on January 6th (listen to the sermon on fasting here), there is freedom in how we approach this.  Some options include fasting from sun-up to sun-down, fasting through breakfast and lunch, or a full 24 hour fast.

The main goal is to forgo the necessity of food while we strive for intimacy with Jesus through reading His Word and seeking His will and direction through prayer.

We do not want to treat this as a religious pursuit of self-denial, but instead it should be an extension of an already existing relationship with Jesus that we want to see grow in depth and closeness.  Will you join us as we collectively seek to align our hearts with God's will?

If you have questions, please reach out to Pastor Matthew at originsgreenville@gmail.com.
