Origins exists to make disciples who Love God, Love One Another and Love the City and the same goes for our kiddos in OriginsKids. We hope and pray that every child at Origins comes to know Jesus as their savior and carries out the Great Commission to make disciples.

Gospel Centered Curriculum

We use The Biggest Story Curriculum for all classes in OriginsKids. The curriculum lessons walk through the big story of the Bible, starting in the Old Testament. There are 52 lessons from the Old Testament and 52 lessons from the New Testament.

Service Times and Age Groups:

Origins Kids welcomes children from birth through 5th grade.
Check-in for Nursery, Preschool, and Lower Elementary is open from 9:15 to 9:30 AM.
Upper Elementary students begin the service by worshiping with their families during the congregational singing. They are then dismissed to their class following that time of worship.

Nursery: Birth to 2 years

Preschool: 2 & 3 years, 4 & 5 years

Lower Elementary: K5- 2nd grade

Upper Elementary- 3rd grade - 5th grade

Babies through five-year-olds will move up on their Birthdays. Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary will stay with their grade level until Move Up Sunday (usually around the first day of school).

Security and Procedures

All of our children's ministry volunteers complete a current background check with Origins in partnership with Checkr before serving. Once cleared, they receive training and ongoing support from our Children’s Ministry Director, Haley Pope, to ensure a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for every child. Checking In

Origins Kids uses a secure electronic check-in system for all children participating in our ministry. On your first visit, a team member will guide you through a quick registration process. At check-in, each child receives a name tag, and you'll be given a matching receipt for pick-up.
