Piedmont Women's Center

As a church in downtown Greenville, we desire to be a people who see the needs of the lowly, serve them, and share our hope in Jesus with them. Piedmont Women's Center is a local ministry we get to partner with in that mission. PWC is a faith-based non-profit that desires to see women and their families succeed and thrive. This is accomplished through their free services such as medical-grade pregnancy testing, pregnancy consultations, limited OB ultrasounds, STI assessment, education, referrals, well-woman exams, child loss support, and parenting classes. These services matter because women, their unborn babies, and their families matter. God cares about life, and our Origins family is grateful to partner with PWC to preserve life, whether that be an unborn baby or his or her mother.

Serving Through the Baby Bottle Campaign

One way we served PWC this summer was through their Baby Bottle Campaign. Our Origins family took the month of June to fill up empty bottles with change. After the month of June, Origins turned in a total of 34 bottles! What our family has given will be used to provide medical needs for expecting moms as well as serving their needs in the first year of their baby's life. Every bit that we get to give goes a long way, and we trust that the Lord will bring about fruit from our faithfulness.

A Continued Call to Pray

One challenge that was given during June was for families to pray for moms and their families as baby bottles were filled up. This challenge still stands! Please pray that the Lord would continue to care for the needs of the moms and their families as they are cared for by PWC. Also, pray that the Lord would bring salvation to moms and their families by His spoken Word through volunteers and staff at PWC. Thank you all for seeking the welfare of these moms and their families. What you do matters, and who you get to do it for matters even more!
